Final non-conference match awaits Lady Bisons

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lady Bisons welcome Tennessee Tech to the Lipscomb Soccer Complex Monday at 7 p.m. for their final game before the start of Atlantic Sun Conference play.

Lipscomb is looking for their first win against Tennessee Tech, as the all-time series stands at 0-7-0.

The Lady Bisons are coming off a 1-0 loss to Alabama State on Friday night in Montgomery, Ala. LU controlled the contest with 21 shots, but were unable to get any shot past the Lady Hornets goalkeeper. Molly Bray and Caroline Chadwell each had four attempted shots.

Bray leads the Lady Bisons with three goals while Chadwell has attempted the most shots, 31, while putting 17 on target.

Tennessee Tech enters the match 2-5-1 and on a three-game skid. The Golden Eagles last played Sept. 9, a 1-0 loss to Western Carolina. The offense centers around Ellie Iaciofano who leads the Golden Eagles with five goals on 20 shot attempts. Three others each have one goal. Of the eight goals TTU has scored, each one was delivered with an assist. Amanda Koch leads the team with two assists. Goalkeeper Jordan Brown has played all 740 minutes with 49 saves and 13 goals against.

Following Monday’s contest, the Lady Bisons enter A-Sun play hosting North Florida and Jacksonville on Friday and Sunday respectively at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex.
