Women's soccer treks back to El Salvador for third time

By Christopher Klotz, former women's soccer assistant coach and current Director of Spiritual Formation for the athletic department

NASHVILLE - For this soccer program a piece of our heart is in El Salvador. Arriving on this campus three years ago, we as a coaching staff knew that serving together as a team was going to be a priority.

This will be the 3rd year in a row the team will return to the same city in El Salvador working with the same ministry, partnering to share and live out the Gospel. We are so excited to return and see our friends, continue the work God has started, and also build new relationships as we love and serve a community.

This year’s group is made up of girls that will be returning for their third consecutive year. For some this will be their second trip, while several others will be introduced to the beautiful people of El Salvador for the very first time.

Thank you to everyone that has financially given to make this trip possible. We cannot thank you enough! It is through your generosity this trip is even possible. Thank you also for praying for our group and for what God has in store.

Please check back next week as we will update the website daily, attempting to put words to the powerful moments we are experiencing.
