The Lady Bisons returned from a three-week road trip to host Atlantic Sun foe Kennesaw State. The Lady Bisons lost in a tight match 4-3.
Lipscomb began strong, clinching the doubles point but fell short in singles.
Kara Jackson and Elizabeth Keevil defeated Vera Shkundina and Alena Sergeychik in No. 1 doubles 9-7. Danielle Hansen and Olivia Ellis defeated Courtney Cox and Lindsay Dillon in No. 3 doubles 8-2.
Kara Jackson defeated Alena Sergeychik in No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-4. Danielle Hansen defeated Morgan Carney in No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-1.
Raphaela Jann returned to the lineup this week from an injury, but was defeated by Agatha Palider and Mackenzie Swindall in No. 2 doubles 8-5, and by Vera Shkundina in No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-0. Jann teamed with Claire Landry in the doubles match.
The Lady Bisons will play host to conference team the Mercer Bears Saturday in Nashville at 10 a.m. at Ensworth.
