Tennis Team Helps With Relief Efforts

The weekend of October 7-9, members of the Lipscomb tennis teams, along with members from the Hillsboro Church of Christ went to Pascagoula, MS to help with relief work from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The group did the following jobs: 1. Helped organize clothes for distribution. 2. Helped organize food and water for distribution. 3. Help organize cleaning supplies. 4. Distributed supplies to the community. 5. Helped clean debris. 6. Helped with the demolition and rebuilding work of homes.

The following members of the tennis teams and Hillsboro Church of Christ were part of the work crews.:

Coach: Lynn Griffith along with wife Dianne Volunteer assistant: Jack Center Members of the women's team: Mary Beth Muncher (senior), Emily Ellis (junior), Casey Hall (junior), Erin Moakler (junior), and Olivia Ellis (freshman). Members of the men's team: Andrew Harris (senior), Colten Jones (junior), Daniel Carrillo (sophomore), Craig Dobson (sophomore), Clayton Phillips (sophomore), Jeff West (sophomore)

Members from Hillsboro: Randall Pardue (Lipscomb employee - Development) and wife, Terry Ann Hunt (Mother of former Lipscomb tennis player, David Hunt), Greg Williams, Chris Bricker
