Lady Bisons beat Alabama A&M 6-1 in tennis

The Lady Bisons tennis team won its first match of the 2007 spring season defeating Alabama A &M Saturday night at the Whitworth Tennis Center in Nashville.

The Lady Bisons lost only one singles match on the way to a 6-1 win.

Senior Emily Ellis extended her singles match unbeaten string to 3-0.

Also winning singles matches were Raphaela Jann, Olivia Ellis, Casey Hall and Caitlin Khouri.

The Lady Bisons are 1-2 heading into Thursday's 2 p.m. match at the University of the South.
