NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lipscomb Lady Bisons tennis team is seeking its second win of the season when Western Kentucky visits.
The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Whitworth Indoor Tennis Center.
Lipscomb is 1-4. Western Kentucky is 2-2. The Lady Hilltoppers will face Belmont Saturday night.
“We are excited for another opportunity to be challenged Sunday night by WKU,” Lipscomb coach Jamie Aid said. “Western has a very good team this season. Again the doubles point will be very important for this match.”
Western Kentucky has wins over Middle Tennessee and Detroit.
Lipscomb is working with only six healthy players this season. The team is dealing with arguably the toughest schedule in the history of the program.
“With the schedule this year I really wanted our girls to be pushed,” Aid said. “We have to play challenging matches to continue to increase our level of play as we approach conference.
“This group is a group that responds well to challenges. They are young and are eager to work each week.”
