Sophomores Dani Walker and Tucker Peabody will be joined by freshman Kendra Lobley at this weekend's preliminary round of the NCAA Track and Field Championships, hosted by North Florida. Peabody will be the first Lipscomb athlete to compete at 8 p.m. (ET), Friday.
Sophomores Tucker Peabody and Dani Walker and freshman Kendra Lobley will represent Lipscomb in the NCAA Championship Preliminary Round of competition in Jacksonville, Fla. May 24-26.
Led by sophomore Dani Walker's school-record 800m run mark and another record set by freshman thrower April Terry, Lipscomb track and field turned in a number of solid performances against strong competition at this weekend's Georgia Tech Invitational.
This weekend's Georgia Tech Invite provides the Lipscomb track and field athletes one more opportunity to earn a spot in the field at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in Jacksonville, Fla., May 24.
Sophomore Dani Walker has been named Atlantic Sun Female Runner of the Week thanks to her record-breaking performance at last weekend's Oxy Invitational.
