Johnson City, Tenn.- The Lipscomb Men's and Women's Track & Field teams posted an incredible 22 personal bests or season bests out of 32 performances at the 2008 Atlantic Sun Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships Friday and Saturday.

"We consider the Indoor season a pre-season for us since we train straight through it for the outdoor season." Said head coach Bill Taylor. "so it's very positive when we can come in here and run PBs and SBs in two-thirds of our entries. It shows we are headed in the right direction.

"I am extremely proud of the way we performed this weekend. At the same time we have a lot more to improve on. These athletes have only scratched the surface of what they are capable of and my expectations are very high in every way for this outdoor season."
