Kayla Montgomery to be featured on 'Rachael Ray'

Lipscomb track and cross country runner Kayla Montgomery’s inspiring story has been featured everywhere from the New York Times to ESPN’s E:60 series.

On Monday, Montgomery will be going on “The Rachael Ray Show” to further discuss how her award-winning running career and struggles with Multiple Sclerosis intersect.

Montgomery was diagnosed with MS at the age of 14. Despite the condition, Montgomery was able to set several distance running records during high school in her home town of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Montgomery, a freshman, is in the midst of her first track and field season at Lipscomb. She competed with the cross country team in the fall. During the Vanderbilt Invite, she secured the third best time (17:34.8) in the history of Lipscomb’s home course, Vaughn’s Gap.

‘Rachael Ray’ will air at 9 a.m. on Monday in the Nashville market, here are the listings to where you can watch it.
