Men's Golf Falls to 14th at Schenkel Invitational

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Lipscomb men's golf team fell five spots on the leaderboard at the Schenkel Invitational and is in 14th place after the second-round.

The Bisons carded a second-round 309 giving them a total score of 604 after 36 holes. East Tennessee State has jumped into first place after firing an eight-under-par, 280 in the second-round.

Linus Samuelsson had the best round of the day for the Purple and Gold with a two-over-par, 74. He is still in the top-20 on the leaderboard, however, sitting in a tie for 18th at 145.

Eric Gilpin and Austin Aliff each carded 79's for their second-rounds. Gilpin is in 72nd at 154 and Aliff is tied for 76th at 156.

The third and final round will take place tomorrow with teams teeing-off at 8 a.m. (EST).
