CLARKSVILLE, TN – Lipscomb Softball dropped both games of Saturday's ASUN doubleheader at Austin Peay, falling 6–0 in Game 1 and 3–2 in Game 2.

GAME 1: AUSTIN PEAY 6, LIPSCOMB 0

Austin Peay took control early, scoring in the second inning before continuing to add on throughout the game to build a 6–0 lead.

The Bisons were unable to generate offense in the contest as Austin Peay held Lipscomb scoreless to secure the shutout victory in the opener.

GAME 2: AUSTIN PEAY 3, LIPSCOMB 2

Lipscomb struck early in the first inning when Brenna Sherman launched a two-run home run to right field, scoring Briley Burns and giving the Bisons a 2–0 lead.

Austin Peay responded in the bottom half of the inning with two runs of its own to even the score at 2–2.

From there, both teams were locked in a pitching battle, with neither side able to break through heading into the final inning.

In the bottom of the seventh, Austin Peay delivered a walk-off to secure the 3–2 victory.
