The action will kick off on Friday as Lipscomb takes on Iowa State at 12:30 p.m. followed by a 5:30 p.m. outing against the hosts Houston.

On Saturday, the Lady Bisons will start early with a 9 a.m. meeting with Penn State, and then a second date with Iowa State at 2 p.m.

The Purple and Gold will close out the Classic with another 9 a.m. game on Sunday against Northwestern.

  • Last weekend, Lipscomb hosted the Purple and Gold Challenge. The Lady Bisons split their four games, going 2-2.
  • Lipscomb started off 2018 be defeating the ACC’s Georgia Tech 1-0 thanks to a 17 strikeout performance from junior Mandy Jordan at the Sand Dollar Classic.
  • In game two of the season, junior Jordan Fortel no-hit No. 14 Ole Miss in leading the Lady Bisons to a 3-0 win over the nationally-ranked Rebels. Fortel was named the ASUN Pitcher of the Week for her efforts.
