Women's Golf in Seventh Through Two Rounds at Citrus Challenge

ORLANDO - The Lipscomb women's golf team moved up two spots on the leaderbaord after the second-round at the Citrus Challenge and is seventh place.

The Bisons fired a second round score of 308, giving them a two-day total of 627. Lipscomb was able to jump up to seventh by improving on its first-round score of 319 by 11 strokes, which was the biggest move out of all nine teams in the field.

Murray State is still leading the field after the second-round at 581. 

Rachael McMahan bounced back and moved up 20 spots on the leaderboard to pace the Bisons. She carded a second-round 74 to put her in a tie for 21st at 155.

Sophomore Emma Wasson also made a move on the leaderboard going from 50th to tied for 38th. Wasson fired a 78 in her second-round giving her a two-day total of 162. 

The third and final round will take place tomorrow with the Purple and Gold teeing-off at 8:30 a.m. (EST).
