ATLANTA, Ga. - Lipscomb's Vika Dzyuba earned her second ASUN Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week honor of the season on Wednesday after helping the Bisons to a pair of conference wins over the weekend to close out its spring home slate.
Dzyuba posted a 4-0 combined record between single and doubles against NJIT and 2-time defending ASUN champion FGCU. She improved to 14-2 in singles on the season after having won five in a row.
In doubles play, the senior has recorded 14 victories between two partners. She and Denise Buberl went 2-0 in No. 1 doubles against the Highlanders and Eagles.
The Bisons wrapped up their home slate, going 10-0, and improved to 15-4 on the year. The win over FGCU clinched a spot in the ASUN tournament for the team.
The weekly award is Dzyuba's fifth of her career.
