After surrendering a seven-run lead, the Lipscomb baseball team fought back to score the winning run in the ninth to take a 10-9 decision over Belmont Tuesday night at Ken Dugan Field. Jonathan Allison finished the night 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored.

The Lipscomb baseball team ran into a buzz saw Sunday against Xavier and dropped the series finale 5-1 at Ken Dugan Field. XU's Trent Astle tossed a complete-game gem, striking out 10 batters. Grant Massey led the Bisons with three hits in the loss.

Propelled by a 5-run fifth inning, the Lipscomb baseball team downed Xavier 11-1 on Saturday afternoon to take the series at Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium in nonconference action. Michael Gigliotti led the Bisons with a 2-for-5 day at the plate with a triple, a two-run homer and four RBI.

The Lipscomb baseball team downed Xavier 5-2 in the opener of a three-game series Friday at Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium. Senior shortstop Grant Massey finished the night with a team high three hits (3-for-4). He also had a RBI and a run scored.

The Lipscomb baseball team will look to defend its home turf this weekend when Xavier visits Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium for a three-game series. Friday’s first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. This is the first meeting between the two schools since 2005.

Behind eight strong innings from junior hurler Denton Norman, the Lipscomb baseball team did some spring cleaning Sunday with a 3-1 victory to sweep Quinnipiac at Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium. Norman allowed one run and struck out a season high seven batters.
